Introduction
This activity explores what makes RE worth celebrating. It gives pupils and teachers the opportunity to work together to identify the range of content within the RE curriculum that contributes towards creates compelling learning and communicate that to other teachers, parents, SACREs and members of the community.

Activity

• Review the range of RE topics you have covered/will be covering this year
• Select four topics that you have enjoyed, or are looking forward to studying.
• Design an illustrated contents page for either an agreed syllabus or a textbook to promote / reflect these four topics
• Be sensitive to the faiths and beliefs involved in your illustrations

Each page should:

• be well presented and visually attractive
• demonstrate an understanding of what RE is
• be sensitive to the beliefs and values of the faiths and beliefs concerned
• show why RE is worth celebrating
