There is a large variety of downloadable classroom activities, presentations and Wordles and much more to help you to give impact to RE.

 

WHAT CAN YOU DO?

In this section of the site there are RE ideas and activities for working with pupils of all ages and abilities. You will also find ideas for activities for SACREs inter faith groups, using social media or ‘Wise sayings'.

Many of these materials are available to download in both English and Welsh.

 

RE - what do people say?

This section of the website provides a wealth of statements about the importance and value of RE.

There are two PowerPoints to download:

• The first is of actors, politicians, academics, people from many faith and belief perspectives and many different walks of life who give a personal insight into why RE an important and valuable curriculum subject. There is also a version of this which can be viewed on the website. Click on an individual's name to read (and if you wish, print off) their statement.

• The second is about the importance and value of RE. Gathered at an event during Celebrating RE month held at the Zoroastrian Centre in Harrow, guests were invited to complete statements such as "RE matters because ...", "RE is important ..."

MORE ACTIVITIES

Formerly the Competitions area, the ideas and activities in this section have been adapted to continue to provide challenging RE experiences for pupils.

CELEBRATING RE COMPENDIUM

This Celebrating RE compendium provides a snapshot of some of the fantastic RE events which took place during the month. It is not only a record, but is also a rich resource of new ideas and activities. Click here to go to the compendium. From this site, you can:
